Great chemistry and...

These guys are down to earth, intelligent and relatable. They have a wealth of experience in the corporate world but also understand that people want to be treated as individuals and need fulfillment and dignity, especially over age 50.

Furthermore, they put a lot of effort into the audio quality. It’s top notch whereas so many podcasts have such poor production value that they are ultimately unlistenable. I hope they continue and build their audience as they as definitely sponsor worthy.

They are both pretty conservative politically but their affable personalities make it easy to digest. I’m liberal all the way but still find the career related content to be solid advice.

Barry Edwards and Merle Garrison: discussing bartering work with clients, but mostly, discussing the busy week of news and the social and political unrest of this time.

More riots, intimidation and violence by people purporting to stand against violence

Kenosha, Wisconsin erupting in riots – more violence protesting violence. The media’s role in conflating the issues and promoting divisiveness.

White diners in Washington DC intimidated by another mob – of mostly white people – to show compliance with the Black Lives Matters movement. Cancel Culture has the majority of people living in fear and publicly showing compliance with the anarchy movement. But democrats are beginning to recognize this will likely increase the Silent Majority by election time. Mainstream Media has adopted the mantra “This is Trump’s America” to blame Trump for the violence of the far left.

Unpacking the Republican National Convention. Kimberly Guilfoyle’s weird speech, followed by Donald Trump Jr’s nearly as weird delivery. In spite of these, the RNC actually went very well and was perceived as positive and uplifting. Vernon Jones (D) and Herschel Walker’s powerful speeches.

A fresh look at main stream media’s usage of the violence for political gain and complete disregard for George Floyd’s memory.

A look at the ongoing corruption of both Republican and Democratic parties.

TV series review: Bloodline on Netflix. Set in the Florida Keys, it is a fascinating look at family dynamics.

Happy anniversary to Merle and Annemarie!!
